Uberised PE

No there was no dress code, but I decided to wear a black and white outfit - now I match with the logo and I don't even work for +Uber coincidence much?

Well black and white is basic and simple which is what +Uber is; bringing about simplicity in the fast paced and techno-savvy 21st century.

Like many other things the world is gravitating more and more to doing things in the comfort of your own bed or in the loo doing your business; you can request a car/driver to come pick you up at home and drop you off at your specified location without calling anyone and not moving an inch from your bed your requested car/driver will be outside in literally a few minutes.

8th December 2015 at 10:00am at the Radisson Blu hotel in Port Elizabeth an event was held for a selected few to introduce the Uber app that's to be launched in the Nelson Mandela Bay on Thursday, 10th December 2015.

We were informed about this meet-up about a week ago and were asked to ssssshhh and not spoil the surprise for the rest of the Windy City.

Well, now I can finally blog and tweet and Instagram about it.

Uber is coming to Port Elizabeth.... Yes you heard right PE!!!

The most underrated city in South Africa.

We're also part of something cool, hip and happening - giving us something to talk about and keep the buzz and thrill in the city.

Of course with change comes a bit of resilience and I hope nothing bad will come from this because humans have different opinions and views some might see this as an awesome development for the city and others a bad thing for the city (taxi industry).

I'm totally excited about this change and I can't wait for the rest of the city to utilize it from The 8th Dec 2015.



Innovation is key,@TravisKalanick (Uber founder) thought of one simple idea and he made it happen.
